Typical Day

The children arrive at school at 9 o’clock. They will usually gather around the cloakroom area to get ready for the day, changing into their slippers.

Soon after, children start their work by choosing different activities, from language cards, dressing frames to scrubbing. The directress offers help and presents new activities to the children.

The snack table is ready for the children to visit when they wish. Children are encouraged to be independent, preparing their own snacks and pouring their own drinks. Groups such as news, story and singing take place spontaneously during the day. Other social activities that take place are Grace and Courtesy groups, playing in the playground and enjoying walks in our woodlands area.
